PCT national phase in Norway or regional phase in Europe?

How we do it, in six short steps:

  1. You fill in the requested information in the form below.

  2. You receive a quote, necessary information about translation, and a PoA to be signed by the applicant.

  3. If you decide to go ahead, you confirm in writing and return the signed PoA as well as any translation of the application, as soon as possible.

  4. I submit the documents, pay the official fee and report back to you.

  5. You pay the invoice.

  6. Everyone is happy 😊.

Official requirements

Language: In Norway, if the PCT publication is in any other language than English, an English translation must be provided. In case provisional protection in Norway is desired, Norwegian translation of the claims must also be filed. (We also handle EP regional phase application in English.)

Filing fee: The official filing fee is dependent on the size of the company (applicant) and the number of patent claims. The fees differ between EPO and NIPO and can be found on their websites.

Power of attorney: If correspondence is to be sent to us (the local attorney), NIPO/EPO needs a PoA signed by the patent proprietor.
